Happy ending for ADAM & Stefanie

She ist the celebrated winner of the ninth season of „Germany’s Next Top Model“ (GNTM), and what is more, she is the star of the Opel ADAM commercial – Stefanie Giesinger. Also the second- and third-place runners of GNTM have won: Opel has bestowed all three final participants with the automotive star of the talent show, a current ADAM special „Germany’s Next Topmodel“ in tender Lilac Silver Metallic or another ADAM of their choice.

GNTM winner visited the Eisenach plant at the end of April
One is already a highly acclaimed star with lots of awards, the other is quickly heading in the same direction: Stefanie Giesinger, a candidate for Germany’s Next Top Model with a perfect 85-60-89 body, und ADAM, the stylish Opel star, have hit it off. When they met at a casting in Los Angeles, it was love at first sight and since then they’ve been seen flirting in a TV spot. Now they saw each other again, when Stefanie visited her ADAM at its home at the Opel plant in Eisenach.

The successful lifestyle car is built in Thuringia and over 80,000 units have been ordered in the most diverse executions since start of production one and half years ago. Stefanie wanted to see its birthplace, and the 17-year-old budding model saw how the ADAM is built in the final assembly plant. She even drove a model off of the assembly line. If Stefanie is one of the three finalists to make it to the final round of Germany’s Next Top Model, then she will get her very own personalized ADAM. She has already decided on the color. “Cappuccino with a white roof” and a FlexFix bicycle carrier would also be great. But she’s still not sure about the rims: “Beige or Cappuccino”?

EMPLOYEES KEEPING THEIR FINGERS CROSSED
The two would fit together perfectly. The young model from Kaiserslautern is now as well-known as the ADAM. One million TV viewers and nearly a quarter million people on Facebook are following her path towards joining the German modelling elite. It started three years ago, when her best friend sent pictures of her to a modelling agency. He did the same thing last year, but this time the recipient was the jury of Germany’s Next Top Model. A little later she got a call informing her that she was one of the 75 candidates for the show, chosen from among 15,000 applicants. Did she want to pursue this? Of course she did. Her dream job is actually to be a child psychologist, but she can do that later. At the latest when she was sitting on a plane with the other 24 casted candidates heading to Singapore, she knew: “I want to become a model”. The 17-year-old student wants to get to know other countries, other cultures and new people. But first, she wants to reach the final round here. All Opel employees and especially those in Eisenach are keeping their fingers crossed for her. And of course so is ADAM, because regardless of what place Stefanie ends up taking, their love story that began in Los Angeles will have a happy end. ADAM & Stefanie.

GNTM & OPEL

Germany’s Next Top Model (GNTM) is the name of a German casting show on TV station ProSieben. The show is hosted by Heidi Klum. Filming of the ninth season started on October 23, 2013 with the designer Wolfgang Joop as a new juror with the motto “Show Yourself”. From over 15,000 applicants, 70 were invited present themselves to the jury. The final round with the top three models was on May 8 (ProSieben) in the Cologne Lanxess Arena in front of an audience of 15,000 people.
Following 2012 and 2013, this is the third time Opel is the official partner of the Pro Sieben show. The ADAM plays a key role: the stylish small car zips through the episodes of the current season and is even available as a special edition ADAM “Germany’s Next Top Model” in soft Lilac Silver Metallic. This is exactly the kind of ADAM that Stefanie gets out of in the new TV spot she was chosen for during the casting show. The young model turned heads everywhere when she flew to Los Angeles to shoot the spot.
