AMMAN TO CHAIR SUPERVISORY BOARD

Dan Ammann

MARCH 2014 The Supervisory Board of Adam Opel AG has voted to appoint GM President Dan Amman (41) as its new chairman. The New Zealand native has served as a member of the Supervisory Board since November 2011 and was officially nominated to become Steve Girsky’s successor in January. GM has also appointed a number of other top executives to serve on the board: Mark Reuss, Executive Vice President of Global Product Development, Purchasing and Supply Chain, Julia Steyn, Vice President of Global Mergers and Acquisitions, and Chuck Stevens, Executive Vice President and CFO. Jim DeLuca, Executive Vice President of Global Manufacturing, also joins the board. Steve Girsky was not the only one saying goodbye. Mary Barra is no longer on the board, focusing all of her attention on her duties as CEO of GM, while John Stapleton is taking on the role of CFO at GM North America. Likewise, Tim Lee is retiring from the company due to age.
