For a good cause: Bettina Zimmermann, campaign ambassador for Opel, didn’t want to miss out on signing the BVB ADAM before the German Actors Award ceremony.

The bidding war is over

19,100 Euros – that is the outcome of a black and yellow auction for a good cause: A bidder from North Rhine-Westphalia has won the bidding war for the BVB ADAM, provided by Opel, at the United Charity. The proceeds go to the BVB ‘leuchte auf’ Foundation.

The background of that initiative: In celebration of this year’s DFB Pokal final – Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund faced off for the game – Opel had designed a unique variant of the stylish city speedster. The optical rarity is interspersed with the team colors of the soccer partner from Dortmund.

There’s true love veiled behind this hashtag. A translation of one intriguing line from BVB’s anthem goes like this: We want to win today, we’ll give it our all / Borussia will play their best, right down to the last.

Vice President & CMO Opel Group Tina Müller casts a longing glance at the BVB ADAM.

What is more, the BVB ADAM is refinded by signatures of numerous celebrities. In addition to the Dortmund soccer squad, there have been other famous people and fans who have left their mark, literally. The car features autographs from No. 1 table tennis player Timo Boll, as well as leading German actors Bettina Zimmermann, Joachim Krol, and Kai Wiesinger.
