☕ First coffee. Then 281 hp.

A guest at the Lausitzring: Opel is taking part in the XS Cars’n’Coffee at the Lausitzring for the second time. This time it’s all about Grand Sport Electric – with the most powerful production Corsa to date.

More than a guest performance: The partnership between Opel and XS has existed for six years. This has also resulted in joint vehicle projects. One of them: the Frontera GRAVEL.

Attention to detail: Yellow stitching accentuates the Alcantara-covered steering wheel. The performance displays bring G-force, acceleration values and battery data into the cockpit in GSE style.
Three spokes. Chequered. Déjà vu.

Electric evolution of the hot hatch: Corsa A GSi, later OPC, now GSE – for decades, the Corsa has had a sporty side. With the Corsa GSE, this tradition has been brought into the battery-electric era.

Meeting place for car enthusiasts: At the XS Carnight vehicle and tuning event individualised vehicles meet drift action and plenty of opportunity to talk shop.

Pattern with history: Chequered was already linked to performance before GSE became electric. The performance seats pick up on the pattern of earlier sporty Opel models. This is particularly well received by the fans at the Lausitzring.
Grand Sport Electric. For the road.

Other types of play: What does Grand Sport Electric look like in worldclass motorsport? With the GSE 27FE, Opel is entering Formula E for the 2026/27 season – and thus starting the new GEN4 era of the racing series.
Two aero set-ups. One goal: speed.

Developed and tested in the wind tunnel: The GSE 27FE runs with two aero configurations. One reduces drag for the race, the other generates more downforce for fast qualifying laps.
Formula E. Next generation.

More power, new requirements: The new GEN4 Formula E cars deliversup to 816 hp. In addition, they have permanent all-wheel drive. This also changes the requirements for the chassis, tyres and aerodynamics.

Barely there, already besieged: The GSE 27FE attracts visitors all day long. That’s exactly what Cars’n’Coffee is made for: experience cars and technology up close without barriers – and get into conversation with each other.

Almost like a game console: switches, rockers, buttons – the driver has all the central functions on the steering wheel. Full concentration is required: the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in well under two seconds.

Speed as a graphic: Bright Opel yellow meets „Lightspeed“ lines that run from front to back across the GSE 27FE – a further development of the pixel graphics of the Mokka GSE Rally.
Ready for the GEN4 era. 🏁
