December 18, 2026, Jeddah: On this day, the Opel GSE Formula E Team will line up on the Formula E grid for the first time. In its debut season, the Opel works team will compete in 21 races across 13 cities on four continents.

“The entire team has been working towards the season opener for months – and now we know: our Formula E adventure will begin in Saudi Arabia,” says Team Principal Jörg Schrott. After the opening round, the calendar will take the team to Mexico, the USA, Brazil and China, among other destinations – before heading to Europe.

There is one date that is likely to be marked especially boldly in Opel’s calendar: On May 8 and 9, 2027, the team will celebrate its first home race in Berlin. Monaco, Brands Hatch, Zandvoort and Madrid are among the venues to follow.
