The Federal Chancellor of Germany, Olaf Scholz visited the Opel booth during the traditional opening tour of the IAA Mobility. He was welcomed personally by Opel CEO, Florian Huettl, who presented one of the highlights of the IAA, the visionary Opel Experimental. The battery-electric concept car impresses with high aerodynamic efficiency. Huettl said: “We already have 15 electrified models in our offer today. In the coming year we will offer without exception a purely battery-electric model of every carline. From 2025, every newly launched Opel will be purely electrically driven only.”
