Goosebumps, speed and electric emotions are guaranteed: with the Corsa GSE, Opel is further expanding its range of all-electric performance models. The sporty small car combines driving pleasure, dynamic performance and everyday usability – bringing the GSE idea to one of the most popular segments. The new generation of electric GSE models began last year with the Opel Mokka GSE. The model has already demonstrated the potential of Opel’s electric GSE line-up: shortly after its premiere, the Mokka GSE won the Golden Steering Wheel 2025 in the “Best Small Car” category.

“Our Opel Corsa is an absolute bestseller. Small, agile and extremely practical, it stands for long-lasting success. The three letters ‘GSE’, on the other hand, stand for battery-electric high performance and top dynamics. The new Corsa GSE combines both worlds,” said Opel CEO Florian Huettl. The upcoming Opel Corsa GSE will be based on the current generation of the small car, which has been among the most popular models in its segment in Germany over the past five years. In its GSE version, it will feature distinctive sporty design accents and deliver powerful, locally emissions-free performance.

Customers will not have to wait much longer to experience the electric sports car themselves: the new Opel Corsa GSE will be available to order later this year. Further details about the model will be announced soon.
